I finally got around to organizing my photos. I simply CANNOT believe there are so many real weddings that I never blogged here. Let’s do something to rectify that, ok?
Chris & Coelle were marred over three years ago, but their wedding was one of my absolute favorites of the 2012 wedding season. I’m going to share it with you this evening! With fabulous photos by Andrea Paradowski Photography it’s no surprise this wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty!
Chris & Coelle were married in the fall but I loved that they decided to do bright shades of orange and yellow instead of a more traditional fall palette. This was our first time doing a wedding at O’Brien Barn and it’s truly a lovely venue. I love a rustic Wisconsin barn wedding!
I love bouts and corsages – they are like tiny little pieces of art. Bright ranunculus pop against the gray neutrals.
Chris and Coelle put so much effort into the little details. A dessert table adorned with a homemade bunting? An apple basket full of programs? So cute!
A huge congrats to Chris and Coelle, and a big thank you to Andrea Paradowski for sharing such lovely photos with us.
I’ve got a gorgeous wedding to share with you this evening! I’ve been holding onto these photos from Rob & Sam of Dutcher Photography for a couple months now. Back in August we had the pleasure of working at a B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. new venue only 8 miles from our design studio. Gary & Renee Whirry are the owners of The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond. It’s a stunning barn with a gorgeous pond and willows perfect for outdoor ceremonies. And Gary & Renee are so accommodating!
Kylie & Paul chose this pretty new venue for their wedding. It was the perfect setting for their rustic fete. When I first met with Kylie, I was so impressed with her keen sense of style, her attention to detail and her DIY nature. I knew this wedding was going to be beautiful! From the gorgeous skeleton key embellished escort cards, to the hand embroidered ring bearers pillow, to the special message to the groom on the back of his tie – this wedding oozed charm.
This has got to be one of my favorite pre-wedding shots – no first look here! Oh, the anticipation! Holding the hand of the one you love knowing that in moments you’ll be walking down the aisle – such a lovely moment.
See, I told you – beautiful spot for an outdoor ceremony.
Kylie carried a romantic white, ivory and blush bouquet that accented her lace gown beautifully. I loved the maids stone colored dresses with cowboy boots.
A personalized message embroidered on the back of the grooms tie is such a sweet touch.
We filled dozens and dozens of aqua mason jars with very simple rustic floral to decorate the reception area. Burlap runners, potted herbs and hand painted table numbers added the perfect finishing touch.
And last, but not least, the cake! A tower of vintage wood crates from A La Crate Vintage Rentals made a beautiful foundation. And the adorable bird cake toppers? Hand made by the brides mom! Add a bunch of rustic floral in aqua mason jars and you’ve got a breathtaking cake display. Oh, and don’t miss the super sweet hand stamped cake forks from Lisa Leonard.
There you have it. Congratulations Kylie & Paul. We had so much fun working on your wedding. And a huge thank you to Rob & Sam for the gorgeous photos!
Last week was a good week. Not only did we get to work on flowers for TWO special brides, but I also got some amazing photos of Travis & Katie’s Memorial Day weekend wedding from Lauren at Lauren Wakefield Photography!!!! Lauren is incredibly talented and her blog is fantastic. Be sure to check out her work.
Shall we get to the photos?
Katie & Travis were married in the small Village of Arlington, WI at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
The groom wore a simple mini calla and spray rose boutonniere. I love the classic clean lines of this bout.
This has got to be one of the best first kiss shots we’ve seen yet! Look at their smiles shining through!
Katie carried a mix of roses and mini callas in muted shades and her maids carried simple hand tied mixed flower bouquets in lavender and ivory. I really love the way light colored bouquets contrast with dark maids dresses.
This was our first time providing floral at Kestrel Ridge in Columbus, WI. We really enjoyed the dark woodwork and gorgeous sage color throughout the venue. It’s a beautiful place to hold a reception.
Katie & Travis, it was my pleasure to create the floral for your wedding. Best wishes to a beautiful couple, inside and out!
