There’s this group of floral designers called the Chapel Designers. Back in May we did a group post about compotes. It was a big hit. This time around, we’re talking about hair flowers.
Hair flowers don’t get nearly enough press. Seriously. I’m always waxing on about the pretty bouquet I’m making or the gorgeous centerpieces we’re creating. I just don’t get the chance to create lovely accents to adorn the head as often as I’d like. (Hello, I’m talking to you. Yeah, you. The bride who’s looking to rock a gorgeous hair piece like the killer hair comb pictured above (photo by Green Paint Photography) on her big day. Call me!) So, what do you say? Shall we get to some more pretty photos?
This adorable little head band below was made with silk ribbon to easily fit any head size. It was adorned with soft lambs ear, some seeded eucalyptus and a gorgeous ruffly white peony blossom. And oh, those eyes!
Flower girls + hair flowers = perfect combination. The pretty ranunculus and rose hair comb below is the perfect accent to this precious side sweep.

The lush ranunculus crown above (Photo by Laura Zastrow Photography) holds a special place in my heart. These blooms when fully blown are so fragile and delicate. This beauty only lasted a couple glorious hours. But the fleeting beauty makes it all that more special to me.
All hair flowers in this post by Alluring Blooms of course!
Oh, and the fun doesn’t stop there my friends. Be sure to check out the hair pieces created by some of the other talented Chapel Designers:
